Denny Kelly, the President of Kelly-James & Associates, attended the University of Missouri while concurrently serving with the United States Marine Corps.  After leaving the service he flew as a pilot for Braniff International Airlines. He has logged over eighteen thousand hours of flight time during his career, qualifying in a wide array of aircraft from single engine to multi-engine heavy jet transports.  He is a licensed Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and Flight Engineer with several aircraft type ratings, and has served as Pilot in Command/Captain on both domestic and international routes.

Denny Kelly has over thirty-four years of investigation experience with both local and federal law enforcement.  During this tenure he received several commendations, two for “Heroic Actions under Fire.”  He has attended the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) School for Outside Investigators, the Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA) School for Outside Investigators, various college-level courses on investigation, as well as numerous government and privately supported investigative schools.  He has lectured at law schools, undergraduate and graduate colleges/universities and other schools for higher learning on the subject of investigative procedures and practice.
